It was a beautiful day. We saw our first snow near the lake, but we didn't travel on snow until the south half of the lake which was still snow covered. We found a nice rock for sitting while we ate lunch. It was chilly there with the wind coming down the cliff face and across the snow. We'd been hiking in t-shirts, but the jackets came on during lunch.
